Your work directly supports product quality and the reliable delivery of therapies contributing to a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Ensure reliable efficient operation of all facility systems and equipment supporting projects and compliance with regulatory and corporate standardsOperate troubleshoot and repair complex utility systems including WFI RODI Clean Steam Autoclaves Glassware Washers production vessels HVAC controlled environments compressed gases plant steam/condensate and wastewater treatment with minimal supervisionSupport 24x7 site-based operations to maintain continuous reliability and respond to critical issues promptlyInterpret P&IDs equipment layouts wiring diagrams and technical specifications to plan and execute accurate maintenance and repairsDevelop revise and maintain operational and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellenceProvide technical data and recommendations for securing spare parts and maintaining inventory accuracyDeliver responsive customer support and collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing Metrology Quality Assurance and Validation teams to resolve issues quicklyPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing process equipment within cleanroom environments to uphold cGMP standardsComplete accurate documentation for all maintenance activities in compliance with cGMP requirementsMentor and train junior technicians fostering a culture of safety reliability and continuous improvementEssential Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent with at least 7 years of maintenance and utility systems experienceLicensure in one or more areas: Electrician Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Plumbing or Waste Water TreatmentProven ability to operate and maintain mechanical systems in a cGMP or other regulated environmentStrong communication and organizational skills with experience working in collaborative team settingsProficiency in MS Office applications Building Management Systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Physical capability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs safelyNovartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:The salary for this position is expected to range between $43.08 and $80.00 per hour. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like but not limited to relevant skills and experience and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
