This role is a vital bridge between engineering leadership and a wide range of stakeholders orchestrating strategic programs optimizing operational cadences and ensuring organizational alignment to boost engineering effectiveness. Youll champion a culture of operational excellence and serve as a trusted BizOps partner in shaping the teams strategic direction.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director Technology & Business Operations.ResponsibilityPartner closely with engineering leadership to translate strategic objectives into clear actionable goals for their respective organizationsPlay a pivotal role in shaping their strategic direction and operational excellence balancing big-picture vision with hands-on operational executionDrive and coordinate the rhythm of business activities including team town halls planning cycles OKR reviews and leadership off-sitesApply deep program management expertise to clearly define workstreams establish precise milestones and ensure all project activities are appropriately assigned and meticulously tracked to guarantee successful deliveryAct as a critical bridge between engineering leadership and key stakeholders across Product People Finance and LegalCoordinate and track strategic projects that cut across multiple teams ensuring seamless coordination and clear communication across all stakeholdersDesign and optimize workflows tooling and best practices for Engineering leadsBuild and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into engineering health metrics such as velocity quality reliability and costPrepare and deliver crisp narratives dashboards and pre-reads for the engineering leadershipSupport engineering leadership talent planning and reinforcing a strong inclusive cultureFacilitate leads to function as a unified team helping to surface and resolve friction before it slows progressIdentify and manage program risks through rigorous risk assessments proactively surfacing prioritization and tradeoff decisionsManage and track budgets for engineering organizations meticulously understanding where costs are allocated which includes analyzing variances forecasting expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost optimization to ensure financial disciplineJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Docusign reserves the right to change a positions job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasic12 years of experience in program or technical program management within strategy and operations including a minimum of 3 years directly partnering with an engineering organizationA history of driving significant operational improvements within high-growth technology environments transforming challenges into streamlined processesExperience with ngineering metrics leading productivity frameworks and cutting-edge operational best practicesExperience establishing or enhancing technical KPIs OKRs or scorecards for engineering teamsExperience navigating fast-paced ambiguous environments consistently demonstrating a proactive bias for action and a dedication to continuous improvementExperience leading and refining rhythm of business activities encompassing planning cycles leadership reviews and comprehensive reporting to foster an efficient operational cadenceA Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experiencePreferredMasterful communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills allowing you to adeptly influence without authority and forge strong alignment across your organizationAn advanced degree or MBARobust technical and analytical skills with a proven ability to distill complex data into strategic actionable insights for senior leadersHands-on experience leveraging data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau Looker or Power BI to drive insights at scaleExperience in management consulting strategic operations or technical operations is highly valuedDemonstrated comfort and effectiveness in collaborating with and presenting to senior leadershipFamiliarity with modern Agile Lean or scaled delivery methodologies (e.g. SAFe )Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $151200.00 - $222450.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
