JCC teachers can earn a one-time new hire bonus of $800 at 90 days, and an additional $1,000 after six months in the role. Position Overview: The Lead Toddler Teacher will provide leadership for the classroom team to maintain the quality of the JCC’s Early Childhood Program, provide excellent care and education for children and build strong collaborations with families.General Responsibilities:Assist the Associate Director / Director in the supervision of staff members on your teaching teamArrange regular meetings for your teaching teamProvide a nurturing environment in which all children feel welcomed and secureMeet NAEYC and Keystone STARS* standardsAdhere to the standards outlined in the JCC Early Childhood Program Handbook for: Following DHS regulationsCommunicating with familiesCare of facility and equipmentRecord keepingCurriculumHealth and safety proceduresTeamwork, including regular attendance of staff meetingsOther duties as needed or assigned.Requirements:Requirements:B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Special Education, Psychology, or the Human Services fieldThree to four years of teaching experienceVisionMust be able to lift at least 30 poundsMust be able to meet the physical demands of child caregivingPA certified in Early Childhood Education
