DescriptionABOUT THE ROLEHoneywell is hiring a Lead UX Designer at our Atlanta Headquarters. As part of the Honeywell User Experience team you will employ your UX skillset for discovering user needs and translating that knowledge into platform-based SaaS solutions for a wide variety of industries. As a UX Lead you will also oversee and guide work that crosses over multiple domains in support of a common platform framework and design system. This is a central role where you will have significant influence over the experience strategy of Honeywell digital and AI products as well as our evolving operations for a growing team.AS A LEAD UX DESIGNER YOU WILLCollaborate with cross-functional partners to guide new products and enhancements from idea to implementation and beyondWork closely with UX practitioners to lead and participate in research strategy and interaction design engagementsFacilitate collaborative workshops and alignment activitiesCoach and mentor other practitioners to develop their craftParticipate in key leadership team efforts involving UX Design Product Strategy Engineering and Operations across multi-continent UX practiceYOU MUST HAVE10 or more years of general experience as a UX practitioner including a year or more experience leading UX projectsUndergraduate or graduate degreeWE VALUEKindness humility and putting people first we believe human-centered people are necessary for great human-centered designA portfolio demonstrating how you have led teams to pragmatic high-quality UX outcomes show us how you get from research to ideas to deliveryExperience in designing SaaS IoT Enterprise and/or platform-driven business & technology solutionsExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate design value with peers and leaders in Product Engineering and OperationsExperience using human-centered design methodologies such as Contextual Design or Service DesignSkills for driving sense-making and alignment workshops and other approachesQualificationsDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. Person which is defined as a U.S. citizen a U.S. permanent resident or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
