To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position please review this tip sheet.CORE JOB SUMMARYTheLeadership Giving Associatereports directly to the Senior Director Development and indirectly to the Associate Vice President of Unit Development. This role supports the strategy and implementation of an omni-channel targeted and donor-centered leadership giving program at the University of Miami.The Leadership Giving Associate is responsible for the execution of leadership gift fundraising functions for assigned divisions including the development of solicitation strategies cultivation and stewardship of donors and efforts to retain and increase giving levels. This role also contributes to the growth of the major and principal gift prospect pipeline and supports process documentation and program improvement efforts.CORE JOB FUNCTIONSProvides professional fundraising services and support to assigned divisions departments and centers. Contributes to the development of fundraising budgets and revenue projections. Tracks and monitors the emerging prospect pool and assists with reports to evaluate program outcomes. Supports the development and sustainability of leadership giving programs. Assists in setting benchmarks and strategies to meet revenue and activity metrics. Delivers strategic counsel to colleagues and unit partners regarding leadership gift engagement strategies. Monitors evaluates and reports on personal progress and outcomes against assigned goals. Manages a personal portfolio of leadership giving prospects with established revenue and activity expectations. Partners closely with the Assistant Vice President of PGDI and Associate Vice President of Unit Development to ensure alignment with school unit and central priorities. Stays current on best practices and benchmarks from peer institutions to inform program growth and innovation. Utilizes dashboards and reports to track progress and shares updates with internal stakeholders.
