Lean PractitionerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Lean Practitioners to join the Boeing Production Systems team in Portland OR.Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Lean Practitioners.The successful candidate will be an expert in Lean and Lean manufacturing supporting the implementation of the Boeing Production System and advancing Employee Involvement maturity. They will collaborate closely with teams across the Major Business Unit (MBU) to drive the execution of improvement projects.This individual will partner with manufacturing teams and other stakeholders throughout the 737 program to promote the integration of BPS and Operational Excellence best practices aiming to achieve world-class manufacturing system performance and efficiency.As a Lean Practitioner you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for leading projects that enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey.Position Responsibilities:Facilitate Lean projects and initiatives across various departmentsConduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levelsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement effortsUtilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiativesMentor and coach team members in Lean principles and practicesPrepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes to managementStay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologiesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment3 years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace3 years of experience working in cross-functional teams3 years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills3 years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLean Six Sigma Certification Green Belt or Black Belt3 years of experience implementing lean principles3 years of experience teaching Lean tools and conceptsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
