With over $5 billion in revenue and almost 20000 employees in 600 offices throughout North America HUB has grown substantially in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions.About the PositionThis role reports to our Technology Operations Learning and Change (TechOps L&C) team at HUB and directly reports to the Learning Design Manager. The Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant will develop learning content across multiple modalities to support the various training curricula and learning this role the L&D Consultant will develop instructional materials and assessments and collaborate with staff in the deployment planning process. This consultant is expected to bring critical thinking skills to the engagement to suggest innovations in the development process.Role & ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop learning content based on adult learning principles that ensure effective and sustainable learning and performance solutionsConsult with business partners and project team members to recommend the best learning solution for the learner and initiativeEngage in collaboration with Operations management and staff to gather and validate contentDevelop projects with other members of the TechOps L&C team (Change Management & Communications Delivery)Positively represent the evolving model of learning diversity encapsulated in the Operations L&D strategyDevelop an understanding of HUBs business processes and model the HUBs standard operations in all instructional materialsRequirementsBachelors degree in adult learning instructional design psychology or related area of study2 years experience as an instructional designerExperience designing and developing training for Operations and ITConsultation experience and learner-centric thinkingProvide instructional design work samples: WBT vILT ILT JAExperience with creating customer-driven projectsBuild and develop a strong relationship with SMEs stakeholders and sponsorsStrategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to quickly assess and summarize information and effectively identify issues or risks and potential resolutionsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to multitask working on several projects at a timeExperience working in a team-oriented collaborative environmentProficiency in Word and PowerPointKnowledge of and experience with learning development tools such as Articulate 360 Camtasia or other video editing softwareAbility to travel to the corporate office and/or HUB locations as neededJOIN OUR TEAMDo you believe in the power of innovation collaboration and transformation Do you thrive in a supportive and client focused work environment Are you looking for an opportunity to help build and drive change in a rapidly growing and evolving organization When you join HUB International you will be part of a community of learners and doers focused on our Core Values: entrepreneurship teamwork integrity accountability and service.Disclosure required under applicable law in California Colorado Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York New Jersey and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $80K to $88Kand will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
