Learning Content Coordinator at IMEG Consultants

Were hiring a Learning Content Coordinator to join our Rock Island IL team. This position is a temporary 6-month assignment.The Learning Content Coordinator at IMEG is responsible for supporting the development organization and maintenance of engaging and effective learning content for our employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring our training materials are current accessible and aligned with company learning objectives.Principal ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation editing and formatting of various learning materials including e-learning modules presentations job aids quick reference guides and technical documentationCollaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across different departments to gather information review content accuracy and incorporate feedbackSupport the instructional design process by assisting with content outlines storyboarding and multimedia integrationConduct quality assurance checks on learning materials to ensure accuracy consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and accessibility standardsCoordinate with external vendors or internal teams for graphic design video production or other multimedia needsTrack and report on content usage and effectiveness metrics to identify areas for improvementSupport the coordination of training delivery including ongoing maintenance and upkeep of learning materials and logistics..Stay up-to-date with emerging learning technologies and content creation best practicesComply with all regulations and lawsRequired Skills/AbilitiesStrong understanding of Learning & Development principlesDemonstrated ability to create engaging training sessions for a variety of audiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and evaluation skills to assess learning needs and program effectivenessHigh attention to detail organization and follow throughProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with content management systems (CMS) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBasic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory is a plusEducation and ExperienceBachelors degree in Education Communications Marketing Human Resources or a related field preferred1-3 years of experience in content creation content management technical writing or a similar role preferably within a learning & development contextFamiliarity with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) or e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate) is a bonusPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 15 pounds at timesWhy Join Us:At IMEG people are our priority with a solid focus on career growth work-life balance and making a meaningful impact.
