The teaching hours for a lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 3-12 credits per semester.Key Job Responsibilities:Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectationsFacilitates classroom online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performanceDevelops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instructionDepartment:The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Department of English houses 3 tracks within the English major and is staffed with 17 tenure-track faculty and 10 academic staff members. The department prides itself on providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in a wide range of career paths:law higher education leadership K-12 teaching human services and editing to name just a few. The study of English equips students to think logically and critically write clearly and communicate effectively.
