Cleveland State University seeks to build a pool of persons qualified to teach Clinical Nursing Courses in local hospitals or clinical sites.Adjunct faculty are professionals with the responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for Cleveland State University students with hospitals and clinical sites. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. Each adjunct is hired to guide students and facilitate learning in the clinical setting.Supervise a group of 6-8 CSU ABSN students onsite in the clinical settingGrade all course assignments and complete clinical evaluation paperworkClinical hours are typically 812 hours per dayCreate a supportive learning environment conducive to attainment of clinical objectivesDemonstrate professionalism integrity and ethics in the clinical settingPromote evidence-based practiceHold a minimum of 1-2 virtual office hours each week for gradingQualifications : Must have an active unencumbered RN license in OhioBachelors degree in Nursing requiredAt least 2 years of clinical experience in the subject areaMust have reliable transportation to clinical sitesApplicants will be required to submit a cover letter addressing position qualifications current CV and names and contact information of two references.Additional Information : CSU is an urban university with more than 15000 students located in the heart of Cleveland OH.
