These positions may involve teaching one or more courses for a single semester or the full academic year, depending on departmental needs.Courses that may require instructors include Religious Traditions of the World, Asian Religions, Introduction to the Old Testament, Introduction to the New Testament, The Hindu Tradition, The Buddhist Traditions, Islam, and other Religious Studies (REL) courses listed in the NC State course catalog.We welcome applications from qualified candidates and will review submissions as teaching needs arise.Other Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.Minimum Education and Experience:Lecturer: Master’s Degree in Religious Studies or related field, an equivalent degree or equivalent professional experience is required. If teaching graduate level courses, a Doctor’s Degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience is required.Assistant Teaching Professor: Doctor’s Degree in Religious Studies or related field, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience is required.
