It emphasizes the structure and function of the U.S. health system and how it impacts population health. It discusses the social determinants of health and how health policy can advance health equity. Provides a broad overview of the many actors in the public health system including community members and organizations hospital and healthcare systems and government agencies.Minimum qualifications:A Master of Public Health (MPH) or Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH)Relevant experience working with college-level students or teaching in an institution of higher learning.Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with core faculty and colleagues on an ethnically and culturally diverse campus is required.Per the California State Universitys Out-of-State Employment Policy the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California.
