We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our team and provide vital support to attorneys while ensuring smooth daily operations within the firm. Position Summary: The Legal Assistant will be responsible for assisting attorneys in day-to-day tasks, including client communication, document preparation, case file management, and administrative duties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings. Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic. Assist with filing court documents (e-filing and in-person, as required). Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and depositions. Communicate with clients, courts, and other professionals in a professional manner. Manage attorney calendars and track important deadlines. Conduct basic legal research and fact-checking when needed. Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, scanning, and data entry. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role preferred. Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Associate's degree, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience preferred. What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience.
