Legal Practice AssistantSeattle WAOur client is a well-established law firm specializing in labor and employment law is looking for a Legal Practice Assistant to join their collaborative team and support attorneys in delivering high-quality work to clients. The firm fosters an inclusive and supportive environment where employees are encouraged to grow their skills and take initiative in their roles.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal setting has litigation experience and values teamwork accuracy and proactive support.Legal Practice Assistant ResponsibilitiesCoordinate document revisions redlines and e-filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.Manage attorney calendars scheduling meetings court deadlines and client activities.Prepare edit and proofread legal documents correspondence and memoranda using document management software.Organize and maintain both electronic and paper files in accordance with firm policies.Process incoming and outgoing mail ensuring all enclosures and attachments are complete.Assist with time entry expense reimbursements billing coordination and client correspondence.Handle travel arrangements prepare itineraries and manage meeting logistics.Serve as a professional point of contact for clients visitors and internal staff.Must be willing to be a backup to the receptionist or handle other duties as needed.Legal Practice Assistant Qualifications:At least 4 years experience as a legal practice assistant legal secretary or in a comparable administrative role in a legal fieldAt least 4 years of litigation experience is requiredComprehensive understanding of legal terminology documentation and standard proceduresAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office document management and e-filing systems; capable of accurate typing at 70 WPMExceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong proofreading and attention to detailHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesProfessional dependable and adaptable within a fast-paced team-oriented environmentCompany Benefits:Medical Dental and Vision InsuranceGenerous Paid time off paid sick leave and holidays401(k) matching and Profit SharingHealth Savings Account /Flexible Spending AccountsTuition Reimbursement and Employee Assistance ProgramCompensation: $70k-93k/year DOE Key Skills Administrative Law,Intellectual Property,Employment Law,Advocacy,Legal Research,Contract Law,Criminal Cases,Legal procedures,Law,Legal Operations,Private Practice,Civil Litigation,Federal Courts,Labor Law,Arbitration Law Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 70 - 93
