Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and trial binders.
  • Filing documents with Superior and Federal courts, managing calendaring and court deadlines, and maintaining electronic case files.
  • Securing medical records/billing, setting medical appointments, and communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, and defense counsel.
  • Scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings; handling travel arrangements; and managing attorney time entry.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in personal injury or civil litigation law firms.
  • Strong knowledge of California Superior and Federal court rules.
  • Proficiency in e-filing systems and high-level MS Word skills.
  • Experience with case management software and MS Office.
  • High school diploma required; paralegal certificate is a plus.
