Legal Wealth Advisor 3
A Legal Wealth Advisor 3 is responsible for origination and on-going management of a profitable loan, deposit, fee income, and non-interest income portfolio from attorneys and small to mid-sized law firms through the development and retention of long term, profitable client relationships. The Legal Specialty Group (LSG) provides financial advice and solutions exclusively to attorneys and law firms, sharing experience and expertise in understanding the ever-changing dynamics of the legal profession, and anticipating the issues and trends most important to the legal community.
Essential duties and responsibilities include managing a profitable book of clients, developing a business plan, proactively originating new business, acting as the face of private practice within LSG firm relationship teams, identifying and right channeling opportunities for clients, coordinating and leading the WRAP process, documenting all client interactions, establishing visibility within the local legal market, participating in legal-focused non-profits, supporting LSG teammates, developing a process to mitigate risk, fostering personal and professional growth, leading discussions on wealth topics, and mentoring junior wealth advisors and associates.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, eight or more years of private banking experience, FINRA licenses, extensive knowledge of banking products and services, regulatory requirements, success in acquiring new high net worth client relationships, consultative and client management skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to lead multi-faceted client mandates, robust understanding of the legal profession, and niche expertise in serving the specific needs of one or more practice areas within the legal community. Preferred qualifications include CFP, CTFA, CDFA or similar designation, MBA or other advanced post-graduate degree.
