Recommend credit facilities within the established bank guidelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCollect and track receipt of financial statements, borrowing base certificates, and covenant compliance certificates from existing customersPerform annual reviews of existing relationships including spreading financial statements, analyzing corporate borrower's financial performance and condition, evaluating cash flow, collateral, guarantor support and other pertinent factorsProduce modification requests for existing relationshipsPrepare preliminary analysis, typically financial statement spreads and cash flow calculation, of prospective borrowersUnderwrite new loan requests including above referenced analysis as well as evaluation of proposed transactionAssign risk ratings as appropriate and monitor covenant complianceProvide analytical support to Senior Credit Analyst and Account Officers as neededAttend and participate in meetings with customer and Account Officer as neededBe prepared to discuss proposals with approval authorities on a one-on-one basis as well as in a committee settingPerform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned Experience and Skills JOB REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of commercial and industrial lending practices and related areasKnowledge of financial institution regulatory environment and policyAbility to work independently with some guidance from team membersPrioritize work product in order to meet varying deadlinesExcellent knowledge of corporate and personal financial statementsExcellent financial analytical skills with sound judgment and decision making abilitiesAbility to build strong relationships and alliances across the organization, ability to adapt to change, ability to multi-task, reliable and highly self-motivatedAptitude in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and WordExperience with spreading softwareExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to adhere to Needham Bank's Core Values (Quick-Decision-Making, Reliability, Relationship-Based Focus and Quality Service)Represent the Bank at various community functionsParticipate on Bank task forces and committees as assignedEngage in continuing education opportunities as they become availableEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related areaAt least 2 years of Commercial and Industrial Lending credit experience with loan exposures ranging from $500,000 to $35 million.SBA underwriting experience preferred.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSNormal business office environmentNeedham Bank offers a competitive salary and an amazing benefit package for a full-time employee which includes fully paid medical and dental insurance, HRA, 401(k) plan with an 8% bank match, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, a bonus program, flexible spending accounts, vision service plan, group term life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program.
