The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to industry regulations, driving continuous improvement, andmaintainingcustomer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality products and processes.Key Responsibilities:Quality Management System (QMS):Develop, implement, and maintain QMS policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements while promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.Internal Auditing:Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and company policies.Document audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on their implementation.External Auditing:Serve as the lead auditor for external audits, including customer, supplier, and third-party audits.Coordinate with certification bodies for ISO 9001/AS9100 audits and ensure successful certification and recertification.Continuous Improvement:Identifyopportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit results and non-conformance reports.Training and Development:Provide training and guidance to employees on ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements and QMS best practices.Act as a subject matter expert for quality standards andmentorquality team members.Documentation and Reporting:Maintainaccurateand up-to-date documentation of QMS processes, audit reports, and corrective action plans.Generate regular quality metrics and reports to communicate performance trends to management.Supplier and Customer Quality Management:Evaluate supplier quality systems and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.Work closely with customers to address quality concerns and meet their specific requirements.Qualifications and Skills:Certification as an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Lead Auditor (e.g., IRCA or equivalent).Proven experience in quality management systems, auditing, and compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.Strong knowledge of aerospace industry requirements, including AS9100 standards.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability toidentifynon-conformances and improvement opportunities.Proficient in quality tools such as root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and statistical analysis.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software tools.Ability to travelasneeded to conduct audits and assessments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.Familiarity withadditionalstandards such as ISO 14001, AS9110, or Nadcap.Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Application window is anticipated to close 30 days from original posting date.This information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
