JOB DESCRIPTION
Instant Teams is hiring a team of Licensed Benefit Advisors to join our team this annual enrollment season! In this position, you will provide customer service assistance to Medicare and Pre-Medicare eligible retirees and assists with selecting the appropriate health plans. As a Licensed Benefit Advisor, individuals will be able to handle all responsibilities from the comfort of their home office. The Licensed Benefit Advisor's responsibilities include selling and enrolling retirees into appropriate insurance products including but not limited to health, prescription drug, vision, dental plans, and advising Pre-Medicare eligible recipients of their options. This is done primarily through providing Medicare education, conducting needs analysis, and assisting the retirees in selecting an appropriate plan for their needs. BAs maintain the highest levels of integrity, are responsible, disciplined, team players, and produce quality work. The most successful agents maximize their selling opportunities from October 15th through December 7th. However, we may offer year-round employment opportunities to high-performing employees if available.

Maintain active resident health (and life if required) insurance license, or ability to renew license prior to start date, and any riders required by state (Med Sup/Illness/Critical Care)
Ability to pass AHIP and annual carrier certifications
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plans
Willingness to learn about DSNP plans as well as Special Election Periods (Low Income Subsidy and Medicaid) for Retirees to be enrolled outside of the traditional Annual Enrollment Period
Ability to identify Medicare prospects needs using a needs analysis based selling approach, accurately answering questions, addressing any concerns, and recommending appropriate plans
Enroll retirees compliantly and efficiently by reading scripting verbatim
Meet and/or exceed key performance indicators
Handle inbound customer service calls as well as outbound dialing by providing accurate and complete information to retirees with the intent of enrolling the customer in the appropriate plan based on their specific needs
Responsible for making outbound calls to warm leads with the intent of scheduling appointments or completing an appointment with a participant
Actively manage all appointments to follow up with a prospect
Respond to voicemails within 24 business hours
Monitor the internal chat and respond in a timely fashion to any questions or requests
Deliver a consistently positive customer experience in a highly ethical and professional manner
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, experience using multiple screens is a plus
Capable of absorbing new information and adapting to new processes and programs rapidly
Ability to process a wide range of complex details and articulate in simple terms to customers with varying levels of knowledge and education
Adhere to call center performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, compliance, and sales productivity
High school diploma or equivalent
Active resident life and health insurance license in good standing
2 years of experience in consultative sales and/or customer service, preferably in a call center or high-volume environment
Aptitude for understanding details of Medicare insurance and complying with all CMS regulations
No contracting restrictions related to carriers and/or previous employers. Release documents are required if previously sponsored by carriers or other companies
High-speed internet and the ability to hardwire your device
Pay rate:
Training: $19/hour ( 6 weeks)
Post-Training: $23/hour + commission
Schedule:
Training: 8am - 4pm CST Monday - Friday
Post-Training: Shifts between the hours of 8am - 10pm CST

Contract Length: August 3rd, 2026 - December 7th, 2026

Background & Screenings: Successful candidates must complete and pass a background check and credit check prior to their start date

Work Environment: Because this is a remote work role, you must have a private, dedicated workspace that enables you to work independently and without interruptions.
