Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, skincare, and beauty treatments, with excellent customer service and communication skills. please note, we understand that individulas have preferences on what type of services they provide. we are flexible. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while utilizing advanced cosmetology techniques and salon management software. The Licensed Cosmetologist will be responsible for providing a wide range of beauty services, managing client relationships, and supporting retail sales to enhance overall salon performance.
Responsibilities
Perform hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services with precision and creativity.
Deliver skincare treatments including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing.
Administer advanced procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments, eyelash extensions, nail care, and tattooing as qualified.
Provide makeup application and hair threading services to meet client needs.
Manage guest services by ensuring a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries professionally.
Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Utilize salon software such as Millennium and MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail management.
Manage social media accounts to promote services, showcase work through product demos, and engage with clients effectively.
Assist with retail sales through upselling products and promoting new treatments or services.
Support front desk operations including scheduling appointments, check-ins, and payment processing.
Conduct product demonstrations to educate clients on available beauty products and treatments.
Requirements
Valid Cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and skincare treatments.
Familiarity with advanced procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox, esthetic laser treatments, and tattooing is preferred.
Proficiency in salon management software including Millennium and MINDBODY.
Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Excellent communication skills coupled with outstanding customer service abilities.
Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience in social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
