JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the crew members.
Maintain and turn in Daily Reports for specific projects to the Operations Manager.
Tracking man hours, labor and material cost on fixed bid or T&MNTE projects to make sure we are executing the project within our estimated hours and budget.
Sufficiently install and troubleshoot different relay's, VFD's, wireless or hard-wired instrumentation and controllers.
Working on different process, compression and metering equipment used in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oilfield.
Installing electrical power, control, measurement and safety systems for the upstream and midstream sectors.
Conduct daily safety meeting with the crew members and help to increase awareness of the different company safety programs.
Delegate mentorship for SSE's.
Help to motivate apprentices and electricians to progress in their careers.
Conduct bid walks and put together material and labor estimates per bid.
Participate in bid review meetings with the operations manager and the Director of I&E.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum of ten (10) years electrical experience in the Industrial oil and gas sectors.
Experienced in all phases of a project for the installation of electrical systems and or equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Up to date on all of the new codes and standards in NFPA 70E (NEC code book).
Master or Journeyman electrical license for the State of Texas or Journeyman applicants must be licensed from a reciprocal State. (Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming)
Applicable regulatory safety training
Valid Driver's license
United States Citizen
Able to speak Spanish and English fluently.
SKILLS:
Proficient in modifications and understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
Demonstrates an understanding of electrical systems, switchgear and circuit types and able to troubleshoot any issues presented.
Must possess the skill set to work on low voltage and medium voltage equipment and circuits.
Knowledge of most electrical components commonly found in the oil and gas industry.
Possess the ability to install, wire and loop test PLC's, RTU's and EFM's
Ability to work safely and recognize potential hazards.
Ability to handle pressure and possess positive leadership in difficult or challenging situations.
Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
PERSONAL RELATION SKILLS:
Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.
Effectively communicate with customer representatives in a professional manner.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Position will work primarily in the field. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.
Must have a valid driver's license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements.
Per diem will be compensated to defray expenses associated with traveling, meals and lodging in accordance to applicable law.
Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
