Provides direct Community-Based (in the field) mental health assessments intervention and consultation to individuals identified by the court system as in need of a potential involuntary commitment.Evaluates each client for diagnosis recommends appropriate service (including interviewing client and accompanying family or friends; providing crisis intervention; arriving at recommendation.Interacts with patients family and support systems to reduce barriers and promote progression of care. Provides assessment counseling information and referral advocacy services and other resource assistance as indicated.Provides direct mental health services to identified individuals incarcerated within a county jail in the service region.Provides assistance with linkage to necessary resources in the community (entitlements employers housing etc.)QualificationsEducation:Requires a masters degree in a behavioral healthcare services related field.License(s)/Certification(s):Provisional or Independent license in both Illinois and Iowa:LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker (Provisional License for IA)LSW - Licensed Social Worker (Provisional License for IL)LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Independent Licensefor IL)LISW - Licensed Independent Social Worker (Independent License in IA)Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons*Specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience skills internal equity and other business needs.
