Role Description

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide counseling and support services to students at The Chase Academy. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and family counseling, managing cases, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure specialized care for students. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Daytona Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Experience in Treatment Planning, including the development and execution of individualized treatment strategies
• Strong knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Psychology
• Competence in Relationship Counseling and providing family support
• Proficiency in Case Management and coordinating care plans effectively
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification required in the state of Florida
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is a plus
