JOB DESCRIPTION

Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist (W-2) | Specialty-Focused, Growth-Oriented

(e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LGPC, LPC, or equivalent)

The Counseling Center Group (CCG) is a specialty-focused, private-pay group practice seeking licensed and pre-licensed clinicians with an interest in working with children and adolescents who value high-quality, evidence-based care, professional autonomy, and long-term growth.

We support clinicians in practicing within their areas of interest and expertise while providing the infrastructure needed to build a strong, sustainable caseload serving children, adolescents, and families.

Who This Role Is For

We’re seeking clinicians who:

  • Are licensed or pre-licensed (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Have experience or a strong interest in working with children and/or adolescents
  • Have training or strong interest in an evidence-based modality (DBT, EMDR, Gottman, ART, CBT, or similar)
  • Are motivated to deepen specialization over time
  • Value thoughtful, goal-directed clinical work
  • Are open to training, consultation, and continued development

(Supervision and support available as needed.)

What Your Work Looks Like

  • Full-time clinical role (approximately 25–30 sessions per week)
  • Caseload primarily consisting of children and adolescents, thoughtfully matched to your interests and strengths
  • Autonomy over your schedule and clinical approach
  • Private-pay model with a supported ramp-up period
  • Opportunity to increase rates over time as clinical skill, outcomes, and experience grow

Clinicians typically build full caseloads within a few months and, once established, are able to earn strong, sustainable incomes while maintaining clinical integrity.

What We Provide

  • Competitive compensation
  • Health benefits and 401(k)
  • Full administrative support (intake, billing, scheduling, marketing)
  • Furnished office space and/or remote options
  • Ongoing consultation, training, and supervision as needed
  • A collaborative, experienced clinical community
  • Access to CEUs and clinical enrichment

A Meaningful Path for Growth

CCG offers a real opportunity for advancement, which is uncommon in most therapy roles:

  • Clinician → Clinical Manager → Clinical Director
  • Leadership roles are supported and developed over time
  • We are open to experienced clinicians currently in private practice, who may step into Clinical Manager or Director roles more quickly, depending on experience and fit
