Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTriad Engineering, Inc. has an immediate need for a full-time Licensed Surveyor for our Morgantown, WV office. Professional Surveyors License RequiredDUTIESThe Surveying Supervisor position reports directly to the Survey Practice Leader.Carry out assignments and verbal instructions from Survey Practice leader with little to no daily supervisionDaily supervision of field crews, including Survey Crew Chief and Survey TechniciansAssist with scheduling and coordination of field survey workAssist with client contact and client retention Business Development with new and existing clients including up-selling and cross-selling other Triad servicesFrequent and ongoing contact with contractors and professional office staffResponsible for the maintenance and repair of survey vehicles and equipmentPrepare field work budgetStrive to make each project profitableRequired to adhere to Company and other required safety practicesQUALIFICATIONSEducationHigh school diploma or equivalentPost-secondary technical training in surveying, including two-year associate degree or technology degree is desirableExperienceFour to Six years of work experience with progressing responsibility and oversight for office activities including coordination, calculations, estimating, etc.CertificationsProfessional Surveyors License Required Additional RequirementsMust be able to read, write, perform basic math, and be comfortable communicating with the publicMust possess a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicleMust be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environmentsThe employee may be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 80 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Work is performed in all weather conditions, and often involves extensive standing, walking and/or brush clearing.
