Our Order Maintenance Representatives are responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders for completeness and entering them into the order management system. This position involves making outbound calls to distributors to retrieve any information that may have been missed in the original order. The Order Maintenance Representatives are tasked with utilizing the information provided by the customer and coordinating with other departments such as Sales & Pricing to make important decisions surrounding pricing, ship methods, etc. in order to provide a positive MCM experience.Main Duties/Responsibilities:Entering new specialty account/category orders into the order management systemMaking outbound calls to inform specialty customers of what may be missing from the order and what is needed to proceed, discuss and establish order processes. Partnering with Supply Chain and overseas supplier in placing orders for import productCreate & update documents such as; PCR'S (Product Change Requests) and sales agreementsExecute special projects & communications as needed as it relates to specialty accounts/categories Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years in a customer service environment preferredPrevious experience with manufacturing & production a plusFamiliarity in sales a plus Special Training or Competencies: Proficiency using a computer and associated software Strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience using order management systems such as OracleAbility to collaborate with various internal departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word & ExcelGood problem solving and organization skillsProven ability to work well under pressure to meet order deadlinesExcellent attention to detailAbility to multitask & focus on multiple issues at onceExcellent customer service skills Our customers come from all walks of life and so do we.
