Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBe part of the founding lifeguard team at Piedmont's stunning new community pool – a brand-new, year-round facility in a beautiful setting, with expansive water area and programs for every kind of swimmer.Lifeguard I is a great fit if you're newly certified and looking to build experience.STARTING PAY: $19.50/hour (up to $22/hour with annual raises) SCHEDULES: Flexible schedules of 5-15 hours/week (up to 20)What you'll do:Monitor swimmers, prevent incidents, and respond quickly in emergenciesEnforce safety rules and keep the pool environment welcomingSupport lap swim, family swim, lessons, team practices, swim camps, and special eventsAssist with opening, closing, and pool deck setupRequirements:15+ years old and completed 9th grade (work permit if under 18)Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (CPR/First Aid/AED)Title 22 (First Aid for Public Safety Personnel) within 6 months of hire
