JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment while promoting a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including cleanliness and equipment functionality.
Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
Provide excellent guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Participate in regular training sessions to maintain certifications and enhance skills.
Requirements
Current Lifeguard Certification (CPR and First Aid certification required).
Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests of all ages.
Ability to lift heavy equipment as needed for pool maintenance tasks.
Previous experience in guest services or lifeguarding is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week

Ability to Relocate:
Dixon, IL 61021: Relocate before starting work (Required)
