We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to be part of our collaborative, interdisciplinary group.About the RoleYou will work with a team (physicians, APPs, behavioral health, and registered dietitians) to develop comprehensive health and wellness plans for adult patients. Our approach includes:Medical evaluationNutritional counselingBehavioral consultsThe Lifestyle Health Membership provides patients with access to educational programs, cooking demos, recipes, and more!Schedule & Work ModelEmployment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Location: Hybrid Position1-2 days in personTelemedicine remaining daysHours: Monday – Friday (exact schedule TBD)Call/Weekend: No call coverage or weekend coverage requiredKey ResponsibilitiesPrescribe and manage weight loss medications (within scope of practice).Provide education and counseling on healthy lifestyle and behavior change (healthy eating, exercise).Document relevant data promptly in the electronic medical record.Consult with collaborating physicians as needed.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.Engage in ongoing professional development and education.Maintain professional interactions with all staff and patients.RequirementsCommitment to managing the physical, emotional, and social impact of patient weight loss interventions.Active or eligible APP license in the State of Massachusetts.DEA license & MCSR.BLS certification required.Experience in Nutrition, Obesity Medicine, or Family Medicine is a plusEPIC (Electronic Health Record) experience is preferredDiversity is a core value at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.Compensation Information:$133120.00 / Annually - $215000.00 / Annually
