Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standardsMaintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all timesManage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient mannerEnsure knowledge of menu and all food productsStock and maintain designated food station(s)Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchenPractice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulationsPrepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as neededRequirements:QUALIFICATIONS:Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.Must be eligible to work in the United States.Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.EDUCATION:High School diploma, general education degree or international equivalent preferred. PHYSICAL ABILITY:Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. as neededContinuous use of hands and armsContinuous bending, reaching, and twistingMaintains strong personal image and uniform standards
