You thrive in high-energy environments, respect the brigade system, and take ownership of your station and your contribution to the team.HOW TO APPLYSubmit your resume and a few sentences on what hospitality means to you.Compensation:$23 hourlyResponsibilities:Kitchen Execution & Food QualityPrep with Purpose: Execute daily prep work following kitchen guidelines, recipes, and portion standards.Cook with Precision: Work your station during service with consistency, timeliness, and attention to detail.Plate with Pride: Ensure every dish meets visual and flavor standards before it leaves the pass.Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your station clean, sanitized, and organized throughout service.Team Collaboration & CultureSupport the Brigade: Communicate clearly with expo, BOH, and FOH to ensure seamless service.Respect the System: Follow kitchen hierarchy, ticket flow, and pacing expectations.Stay Hungry: Ask questions, seek feedback, and commit to improving your technique and efficiency.Have Each Other’s Back: Step in when a teammate needs help — no matter the task or station.Operations & IntegrityFollow Protocols: Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.Control Waste: Practice efficient prep, portioning, and storage to minimize waste and cost.Label & Date: Maintain accurate product rotation and labeling for all prepped items.Communicate Issues: Notify leadership of low inventory, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.Continuous Growth & ExcellenceKnow Your Craft: Study the menu, understand flavor profiles, pairings, and stories behind each dish and cocktail.Master the System: Use the POS system quickly and accurately, and always double-check orders before sending.Learn, Share, Repeat: Be curious, ask questions, attend training, and always seek to grow, as a server and as a person.Qualifications:WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUAttributes of a Cook of Intentional HospitalityDisciplined & Focused: You value order, timing, and consistency in every step of service.Pride in Your Craft: You care deeply about the food you send out — even when no one is watching.Team-Minded: You understand the kitchen is only as strong as its weakest station.Calm Under Pressure: You stay composed during rushes, maintain pace, and reset for the next wave.Growth-Oriented: You take feedback with humility and use it as fuel to grow.Guest-Focused: You may not see them, but you cook as if the guest is always watching.Skills & QualificationsExperience: 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen or culinary program preferred.Technique: Solid knife skills, understanding of basic cooking methods, and willingness to learn advanced techniques.Physical Readiness: Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and move swiftly in a high-volume kitchen.Availability: Must be available evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.About Company7th Floor Hospitality Group (7FHG) is a multi-concept hospitality company bringing vibrant, downtown-style experiences to suburban communities.
