Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHere Hospitality Group is hiring for nimbu: Indian Street Food, opening soon off of Route 1 in Princeton, NJ.We are looking for skilled, reliable Line Cooks who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-casual kitchen. This role is hands-on, consistent, and execution-driven — perfect for cooks who are detail-oriented, organized, and want a stable full-time schedule with long-term growth potential.This is a full-time role with 4 days on and 3 days off - stable 10 hour shifts.You’ll be responsible for producing consistently excellent food using our established recipes, prep systems, and service standards. Speed, precision, and teamwork matter just as much as flavor.ResponsibilitiesDaily Production & ExecutionExecute recipes exactly as written with consistent flavor, texture, and presentation.Prepare all mise en place for the day and maintain a clean, organized station.Cook and assemble menu items quickly and accurately during peak service.Follow batch production lists and portioning guidelines.Maintain quality control during high volume — speed without compromising standards.Kitchen StandardsUphold all safety, sanitation, and food handling requirements (FIFO, labeling, cooling, storage).Maintain a clean station at all times, including equipment, tools, and prep areas.Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and breakdown.Support the team during rush periods with calm, professional urgency.Teamwork & CultureWork collaboratively with shift leads, prep cooks, and dish/prep team members.Communicate clearly during service to ensure smooth workflow.Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude even during stress or volume spikes.Schedule RequirementsFull-time (40 hours/week)4 days on / 3 days off — fixed 10-hour shiftsMust be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)Additional shifts on peak weekends may be offeredRequirements2–3 years of professional kitchen experience (fast casual, quick service, or high-volume preferred)Strong knife skills and ability to follow standardized recipesAble to lift 30–40 lbs and stand for 10-hour shiftsAttention to detail with consistent execution at scaleReliable, punctual, and able to multitask efficientlyMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesWhat We OfferStable and predictable weekly scheduleOpportunities for growth into Lead Cook or Shift Lead positionsPositive, respectful, team-oriented kitchen environmentStaff meals, training, and long-term development as we growBy applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
