Drawing inspiration from these regions, Executive Chef Michael Fiorelli has reimagined coastal classics to create contemporary dishes that encompass the spirit of being on holiday in Europe while taking full advantage of seasonal ingredients found at home in Southern California.We are seeking hospitality industry professionals with experience working in upscale, fine dining establishments.Line Cook Job Overview- Cook and prepare all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line- Prepare and portion food items prior to service- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment- Answer, report and follow instructions from the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef - Clean up station and take care of leftover food- Stock inventory appropriately- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards- Maintain a positive and professional approach with guests and colleaguesRequirements- 1-2+ years of similar experience in a fast-paced environment- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks- Familiar with industry’s best practices- Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills- Work flexible schedules and willing and able to work shift duties that may include late evenings, nights, weekends and holidays- Collaborate with Colleagues cross-departmentally- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy- Work cohesively with Colleagues as part of a teamOlivetta provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, genetics, or any other federal/state protected category.www.olivetta.la@olivetta
