Ideally, you have your ServeSafe or Food Handlerscertification.Responsibilities:Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces orserving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practicesEnsure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of oldand new items, and rotating stockEnsure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperatureof ovens, broilers, grills, and roastersSeason and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experienceTurn or stir foods to ensure even cookingRespond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalismQualifications:Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferredServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain), A work place sexual harassment certificateEffective communication skillsAbility to lift 30+ lbsAbility to work standing for 8+ hours
