In this position, you will be responsible for cooking at a high volume while showing the ability to prepare food and dishes at the highest level. Our ideal candidate is experienced and committed to creating an excellent experience for our guests, and a drive to excel in a team-driven environment with an array of moving parts. Duties and Responsibilities: Help the chef team create menus according to seasonSet up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipmentPrepare food and present it in an appealing mannerMaintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessaryFollow all food safety regulationsParticipate in daily kitchen opening or closing proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by our chef teamQualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferredAbility to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipmentAdvanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipesAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressureStrong organizational and time-management skillsKnowledge of food safety practicesOpen to feedback and the ability to utilize it as a toolAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 poundsTexas Food Handlers Certification
