Our ideal candidate is reliable under pressure communicates well and values the impact great food can have in a healing environment.What Youll Be DoingAs a key member of our production team youll help keep our kitchen running smoothly while delivering delicious nutritious meals to patients visitors and staff. Your day might include:Preparing hot entrées soups and sides on schedule and according to recipe dietary guidelines and patient needsAdhering to International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI) guidelinesWorking the production line with speed accuracy and careFollowing HACCP sanitation and food safety procedures at all timesManaging multiple menu items in a high-volume environmentAssisting with inventory rotation and communicating supply needsMaintaining a clean safe workstation and completing daily cleaning tasksContributing to a positive respectful team-oriented kitchen cultureKey QualificationsWere looking for someone who:Has Line Cook or production cooking experience (healthcare or high-volume preferred)Demonstrates strong knife skills and comfort with commercial kitchen equipmentCan follow recipes production sheets and verbal/written instructionsUnderstandsor is eager to learn aboutspecial diets and patient nutritionHolds a ServSafe or food handler certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)Stays organized detail-oriented and dependable in a fast-paced environmentWorks well independently and as part of a close-knit teamCommunicates professionally and contributes positively to the work environmentWhy Youll Love Working HereTeam-Centered Culture: Youll join a supportive culinary team where collaboration and respect are top priorities.Stable Schedule & Purpose-Driven Work: No late nights.
