A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.The RoleWe are looking for a Line Cook to support and report directly into the Executive Chef. This is a fast-moving business so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once.Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator who is a team player and detail-oriented is a must to ensure a uniquely brilliant culinary experience is received by members and guests.Main DutiesSet up, maintain and clean station according to Company and local regulated guidelinesPrepare all food items to recipe and as trained to ensure consistent product is served for our members globally Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the CompanyRestock all items as needed throughout shiftClean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skillsProperly use and maintain kitchen equipmentAssist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areasPerform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager at any timeRequirementsA minimum of 1 + years of experience in a fast paced and professional environmentPrevious experience working in a high-volume and food forward restaurantProven success of champion of the culture, facilitating excellent communication and engagementTeam focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contributeAble to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasivePhysical Requirements:Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.Must be able to use step ladder.Our Doors Are Yours To OpenThe Line SF is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that seeks to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
