Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: 20Responsible to:General ManagerPlace of Work:Lost Boy Dry GoodsMain Duties:To be a part of a team building experience. To create, to inspire and to bring smiles to our guests faces.Prepare and organize cooking stations in the kitchen for yourself and other chefsCook the menu items that senior chefs assign to youComplete presentation of dishes to be sent to restaurant patronsEnsure food quality is of the highest standardsCooperate with other kitchen staff, especially chefsEnsure that dishes are timed correctly for parties of restaurant patronsComply with health and sanitation guidelinesLine Cooks necessary skills:Experience cooking in a professional environmentComprehension of a variety of cooking techniques and understanding of chefs culinary requirementsFamiliarity with best line cook practicesGreat communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsCulinary school degree is a plusPhysical Requirements:Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 20 pounds.Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
