Our Meridian, Idaho location is bustling, dynamic, and ready to welcome a talented Line Cook to our team.Job Description:As a Line Cook at Ling & Louies, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes using woks. You will ensure each dish is cooked to perfection with speed, precision, and an eye for quality presentation. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for Asian cuisine, a strong work ethic, and a love for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items using woks, following our recipes and specifications.Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including all cooking and preparation areas.Monitor food stock levels, restocking items as needed, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh.Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, and plating dishes.Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest standards are met.Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and operations.Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.Qualifications:Previous experience as a line cook, preferably with experience using woks or in an Asian cuisine setting.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
