Join us and help shape the experiences that make Milwaukee unforgettable.JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in cooking high-quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their culinary skills. As a Line Cook, youll be responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking menu items to spec, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation throughout service.Key Responsibilities:Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before servicePrepare ingredients as directed (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, making sauces)Cook and plate dishes according to chef specifications and restaurant standardsWork in coordination with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth serviceMaintain cleanliness and organization of your station during and after shiftsProperly handle and store leftover foodFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesEnsure all food is prepared in a timely manner, with attention to quality and consistencyCommunicate any issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages) to the Sous or Executive ChefSkills & Qualifications:Previous kitchen experience (line cook, prep cook, or similar role) preferredSolid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentAbility to follow recipes and directions accuratelyStrong work ethic and reliabilityComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentAttention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safetyTeam-oriented attitude and good communication skillsFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededBenefits:Competitive pay scaleFun, team-oriented environmentOpportunity for growth and developmentFlexible scheduling
