Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The Hilton Garden Inn of Lakewood is seeking passionate culinary professionals to join our award-winning team in the role of Cook. If you have experience cooking or prepping in a commercial kitchen (willing to train those with less experience), we want to hear from you. In this position, you will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the hotel's kitchen. Join a great team, and help us maintain our high standards of excellence. We are currently seeking candidates who are available to work our breakfast shift of 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 4-5 days a week (including some weekends and holidays). Also looking for PM Cooks to work our dinner/room service from 4PM – 11PM 3-5 Nights week. Flexibility for BOTH a HUGE PLUS++++Requirements:How to Succeed:· Take pride in the quality of your food execution and presentation· Help ensure compliance with our F&B policies and procedures· Achieve consistent results while managing demanding deadlines· Be willing to accept constructive feedback and use it as a tool for growth· Maintain a clean and professional appearance· Collaborate with fellow team members and other hotel departments to promote a positive work environment· Always strive for exceptional guest service and satisfaction· Must be able to stand for long periods of time (5 hours or more per day) and lift up to 50lbs. · *Prior experience with restaurant/banquet food prep is required*· *Serv Safe certified candidates are preferred*· *Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including opening and closing*Who We Are:The Hilton Garden Inn of Lakewood is part of the Hotels Unlimited family of hotels.
