Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLINE COOKStonebridge Country Club has an immediate opening for a professional Line Cook who can assist in food prep. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating meal portions, cooking, broiling, grilling, searing, seasoning, and keeping a sanitized work area. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the food service industry and is committed to impeccable food presentation and garnishing. The position is a seasonal one – working more hours in the winter months, and less hours in the summer months.Responsibilities include:Preparing basic components of each dish on our menuBroiler experience searing, seasoning and cooking meats to the proper temperatureWorking in a fast-paced environment where accuracy in production and presentation are essentialMemorizing and utilizing our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep proceduresEnsuring that the kitchen and food prep areas are always sanitary and fully functionalWorking with team to do portion prep work when neededMonitor freshness of all productsRequirements:Strong culinary skills, including an employment history which includes a minimum of two years in a comparable commercial kitchen performing comparable workCurrent food safety certificationAble to stand for eight hours or more per dayHigh level of professionalismAble to work day or evening shifts, including nights and weekendsComfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchenExcellent communication skillsAble to lift at least 40 pounds on a regular basisWe offer:Competitive payFull benefits package401k after 6 months of servicePaid Time OffUniformsEmployee meal during shiftIf you meet these qualifications, please e-mail a resume.
