This is for our full service restaurant location called Tohono Chul Garden Bistro. It is located on the northwest side of town off of Oracle Road and Ina Road just outside Tohono Chul botanical gardensThe Garden Bistro is a brunch restaurant open every day from 8 AM to 4 PM. Now looking to interview professional individuals with a positive attitude and a passion for all things culinary!.Candidates must have some experience and knowledge of food preparation and the culinary industry. Even though this is primarily a 8am to 4pm position, Applicants must have adequate transportation and open availability.Compensation will depend on experience and will be discussed further at interview. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. If you have a passion for creating meals that wow, we want to hear from you.Duties and Responsibilities:Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipmentPrepare food and present it in an appealing mannerMaintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessaryFollow all food safety regulationsParticipate in daily kitchen opening and closing proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned by the sous and executive chefsQualifications:Previous experience in a similar role is preferredAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressureExcellent time management skillsAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
