Known for our cozy atmosphere, diverse menu, scratch kitchen, 36 beers on tap, 80+ whiskeys, 400 seats, 2 private party rooms, and a huge outdoor patio, we pride ourselves on delivering great food and memorable experiences.The Role:We’re hiring an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our talented kitchen team. You’ll help ensure every guest leaves with a full stomach and a smile.Schedule: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Evening and Weekend availability is a must. Any day of the week.Craft Concepts Restaurant discounts to over 25 locations in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas & Missouri! 25% off food for you and 1 guest, Sunday-Thursday.Flexible SchedulingInternal Growth OpportunitiesAccountabilitiesProvide exceptional food for guestsContribute to plating and cooking techniquesEager to learnWork efficiently in a fast-paced environmentUphold company mission and core valuesRepresent the brand with pride and professionalism Job ResponsibilitiesSets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing saucesCooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older6+ months of line cook experience in a full-service restaurantMust have reliable transportation to and from the venueProlonged periods of walking or standing.Must be able to lift up to 40lbsMust be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time*Tin Roost is an equal employment opportunity employer#hc212603
