Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBreakwater Grille sit on the banks of Lake Conroe with beautiful lake views from the dining room and outside seating area. Home to multiple events per year, Sunday Brunch and dinner service, our guests enjoy a great meal with one of the best views on the lake. The Breakwater Grille hosts live music multiple times a year with large crowds and a busy kitchen. We are seeking an experienced line cook to add value to our operations. We strive for customer satisfaction while maintaining an efficient operation with regards to our processes, products and people - our employees, customers, delivery partners and vendors.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standardsSet up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesEnsure that food is prepared and served in a timely mannerFollow proper food handling and sanitation proceduresCollaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchenAssist with catering events as neededExperiencePrevious experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferredKnowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience with kitchen equipment is a must; ovens, deep fryer, stoves, grill, warmersSchedule availability: Must be able to work all potential shifts including weekends and Holidays.Experience level: 2-years of kitchen experience preferable.Restaurant type:  fast paced Bar and Grille Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.Job Types: Part-timePay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourShift:Day shiftEvening shiftNight shiftWork Location: In personWalden on Lake Conroe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
