Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a line cook to join our team! This is your opportunity to work alongside one of the top culinary teams on the bourbon trail.Responsibilities:• Check freshness and quality of ingredients• Assist in the development of menu items• Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests• Set up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies• Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing and preparing sauces• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage• Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift• Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logsRequirements• Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields is desired but not necessary• Passion for food and cooking techniques• Strong leadership qualities• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment• Basic written and verbal communication skills• Organizational skills• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks• Ability to work as a team member• Follows directions and instructionsBenefits• 5-day work week with two consecutive days off• Competitive pay rate based on experience• Paid time off• Additional pay (tip out % from FOH)• Continuing education with guidance from the culinary team• Employee discount• Health insurance, life insurance, vision insurance and dental program options
