All fresh, oven-fired pies with a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits. All of our food is fresh and made in our kitchen, right down to homemade dough, cheeses, and toppings. Top-shelf food with a tavern feel. Guests enjoy what we like to call “Hearth-Fired Happiness.” Job Overview:As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for your station and kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and be able to work in a fast-paced, busy team environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our restaurant's recipes and standards. We have multiple stations from Pizza/ Grill & Pantry/ Salad, and Fry. We strive each and every day to provide a fun and safe atmosphere and deliver a phenomenal dining experience for all who walk through our doors. In the simplest of terms, if you’re looking for a great place to work with a great clientele, a high level of consistency, and the support of your peers and management, this is the opportunity for you.Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Follows proper Dress Code and Servsafe/Health Department guidelines.Line Checks and Temperature Log structure followed.Follow all the recipes and build sheets every time.Prepare and cook food items according to our restaurant's recipes and standardsSet up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesEnsure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented in an appealing mannerFollow food safety and sanitation guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are completed on timeAssist with inventory and ordering of supplies as neededProven experience as a Line CookKnowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to work well in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsAssumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served.Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.Assists in food prep assignments and dishwashing during off-peak periods as needed.Opening and/or closing the kitchen properly and following the checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in opening and/or closing the kitchen.Helps maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, prep, walk-ins, restrooms, dish areas, and outside areas through the daily/weekly/monthly cleaning lists.Attends all scheduled employee meetings.Performs other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty.Requirements:
