If you are ready for an upbeat and friendly work environment, this is the place for you!Key Qualifications:Be a team player and have high attention to detail1-2 years of previous culinary/ fine dining experienceLine Cook Job Responsibilities:Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing different dishes.Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauting, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersLine Cook Qualifications/Skills:Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industrys best practicesCulinary school diplomaEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GEDOne to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cookCertificate in Culinary Arts preferredExperience with various cooking methods and proceduresFamiliar with industry best practices
