Job Details Knoxville Plant - Knoxville TNDescription The Line Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.Responsibilities: Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by managementUtilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functionsComplete change overs for their assigned equipment and/or production lineLearn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable qualityRead and follow instructions regarding daily expectations requirements or specificationsAccurately completes all quality traceability and production paperworkReport any product deficiencies food or safety concerns to supervisorPerform minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimallyMaintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assists others with product change oversFollow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiativesMaintain safe and efficient use of equipment tools and person; reports any injury accident or unsafe condition to supervisor immediatelySupport and comply with GMPs; understand and follow emergency action planSupport food safety quality and legalityEnsure the operation is providing food-safe quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedQualifications High school diploma or GED2 years of machine operating/production experience preferredTechnical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment complete a changeover and operate one piece of equipmentInterpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directionsLeadership skills include a positive attitude being a team player and self-leadership Key Skills Electrical Design,Installation Maintenance Repair,Large Account Management,Learning Development,Corporate Development Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
