If you have the following qualities, you will thrive here as a Line Cook:Take pride in preparing quality food with consistencyEnjoy working as part of a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen teamStay calm and focused under pressure, even during busy shiftsCare about organization, cleanliness, and food safety standardsAre dependable, punctual, and committed to supporting your teammatesKeep a positive attitude and communicate clearly and respectfullyAre open to learning new techniques and recipesTake ownership of your station and contribute to smooth kitchen operationsResponsibilities:Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipesPerform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted rangeEnsure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth deliverySet up and clean station according to restaurant protocolMaintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelvesComply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standardsEnsure quality and freshness of ingredients and productsPerform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chefQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, or resortUnderstanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skillsAbility to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detailAbility to read and follow cooking directionsAbility to remain calm in a fast-paced environmentMust be organized and self-motivatedMust be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials.Career Growth - What we look for:Own your area of responsibility and its impact on the guest experience.
